Originating from the United States, this variety was grown for communities around Baltimore and Philadelphia and used to season local fish and seafood dishes.
The plant is quite compact, growing well in pots approx 50 cm in height, with stunning green and white variegated leaves and foliage. The pods start a green creamy white with stripes and mature to a bright read or orange with red stripes.
It is an stunning variety and we love growing it.
Flavor
This pepper has a mildly sweet flavor and is slightly tangy.

Pods go from green with light cream/white variegation to a bright red approx. 5cms long 2cms wide.
