Mild and sweet Japanese variety that is most commonly used with battered or fried food such as tempura batter. This variety is typically comsumed when immature and green but if left to mature it turns to a bright red.
This variety is a very nice and tasty prolific vareity producing pods approx 15cms x 2cms. We have used this in stir frys, pickeling and would also be suitable for a sweet mild powder.
This variety grows to approximately 70 cms x 40 and is a great choice for growers with small growing areas.
This is a mild to medium variety that is great for cooking due to its sweetness and flavour.
