Chinense
We got this variety from the Hippy Seed Company and is a cross between the Bhut Jolokia and Jalapeno. This variety produces quite long ghost like looking pods and quite prolific. 
 
The variety produces delicious flavour with a similar heat to habanero. The pods start green and mature into a bright red. 
 
Flavor
Bhut Jolokia flavour, slightly sweet with a hint of apple. 
 
Pod
Pods go from green to a bright red approx. 5-8cms long 2cms wide.
