Chinense 
"Fantastic colour and shape"
This variety was originally created by Rocco Maltesi which was a cross between the Fatalli Gourmet Jigsaw x Big Mama x Yaki Blue Fawn. This variety produces nice size pods that grow purple and mature to a nice dark red/brown. The plant has quite dark foliage, prolific and absolutely stunning. 
 
Flavour
A Chinese aroma similar to the habanero.
 
Pod
This variety produces quite large pods approximately the size of a golf ball, starting purple changing to a dark red/brown purple colour.
