Also known as Pimientos de Padron, this chilli is grown in the Padron region in north Spain and one of the most well known in the Mediterranean area. Typically used in Spanish Tapas and one of the best for frying with olive oil and salt.
A nice sweet flavor typically used in Spanish dishes it can be fried, baked or even dried into powder.
This variety is a great producer of pods 8 x 3cm, starting green maturing to a bright red.
