This is an amazing variety originating from Brazil, producing stunning clusters of purple pods that grow inverted and mature to a bright red/light purple. With its dark foliage and teardrop pointed pods is it one of our favourite varieties to grow.
 
This variety grows to approx 1.2m high, producing bright red/purple pods that are approx 5cms x 2/2.5 cms and is a prolific producer. A fantastic choice for sauces, pickling or a stir fry.
 
Flavour
Lower heat than a habanero and very fruity.
 
Pod
Pods start purple and mature to a bright red approx 5 x 2.5cms.
