Chinense
This variety is a cross between the Bhut Jolokia and a Filius Blue, a stunning variety with dark foliage and nice-looking pods. The pods start black and mature to a red/burgundy colour and are quite a good size approx 4-5 x 3 cms.

Chinense aroma with hints of floral.
 
Pod
Pods start nearly black and remain that color until full size. Pods mature to a burgundy colour.
